It is pretty safe to say that after 4 visits in the last year and a half, my new favorite place to travel in the Southeast is Tennessee!  CKB shares my sentiments as he took a trip to Chattanooga at the end of last year.  I have managed to travel to Knoxville and Nashville which is very popular but the special place that holds my heart is a town about an hour east of Knoxville called Gatlinburg.  I just left Gatlinburg recently where I took a weekend trip with friends.
