Acing Midterm Exams: How To Get Started
That time of the semester has come around again…no, it’s not time for Spring Break yet (sorry), it’s actually time for midterm exams!
At The LI$T, we want to make sure our college readers are prepared for all of your tests. Here’s an example of what not to do before exams, courtesy of one of my favorite childhood TV shows, Boy Meets World:

“To get ready for midterms, I create study guides based on the notes I’ve taken in class. I try to anticipate the questions my professor might ask and answer them myself. Creating the guide itself is also like studying because it helps you to think critically about the material.”
“I review the homework problems and/or in-class examples that gave my classmates and I the most difficulty. I dissect these problems into smaller components so I have a more holistic understanding of the most difficult material I’ve covered in a course. Understanding the fundamentals of the difficult material ensures that I’m prepared for the midterm.”
